The Assistant Corp commander of the Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) Lagos island unit command, Acc Saddiq Abdulrahman has delivered a public safety lecture on how to avoid death while driving on the country's major roads, he stated that drivers should makes use of their seat belt,limit their speed and stop the act of making phones calls while driving.

AbdulRahman delivered the safety lecture during the 2015 (1436 AH) Annual Ramadan lecture organised by the JAMAIYYAT  ZIKIRULAHI LI-AKBAR ISLAMIYAT SOCIETY OF NIGERIA, held today at the prestigious upper Campos square, located at Bamgbose street, Lagos island, Lagos state, Southwest Nigeria.

Also at the gathering, over a hundred of natural herb drinks known as Yoyo bitters were freely served to the guest,more so four different leading mobile phone networks shared Airtime and fabulously designed attires were shared during the lecture.

In an interview with the JAZAK coordinator, Alhaji Musiliu Adebara told august24online.com that his sect has decided to cook up another creative concept to the lecture in other to propagate Islam.

Speaking on the prescribed topic of the day, titled 'ISLAM, MODESTY AND CELEBRATION', the vibrant chief lecturer who is also a motivational speaker, Fadilat Sheilkh Abdullahi Araokanmi urged the mammoth crowd to change their mode of dressing not only in the holy month of Ramadan but thereafter.

The lecture was declared open with recitations from the Holy Quran by Alfa Sulaimon Ayinla of Mardu Tahalim Arabic school,Okepopo, Lagos Island' while Sheilkh Abdullahi Awwal a.k.a prof Oloyinbo gave the opening prayer

Famous Islamic singer,Alhaja Fausyat Adeyemi popularly known as Olokikiomo was on the bandstand to treat the guest to which they all danced and forgot their fast.

who graced the lecture included the Chief Executive Officer of Yoyo bitters Alhaji Sulaimon Abiola ,CEO of Tadeko paper mill, Alhaji Tajudeen Adekoya a.k.a Tadeko,Chairman Rainbow plaza Alhaji Abdul Waheed Oguns,

The guest list also included Ajadi Lawa hotel boss Alhaji Taofik Ajadi,Alhaji Muhameed Aremu a.k.a Moharemsco and several others.
