Family members,friends and relatives of late sage,Alhaji AbdulRafiu Adio Olubodun Jawando have rained all kinds of praises and accolades on late astute and humble politician and who left the sinful world at the early age of 66 in the year 2001, this was contained during the 14th edition of the valedictory prayer session and lecture organised yesterday by children of the decease at the prestigious Edumare square, Epetedo area of Lagos Island, Lagos state,southwest Nigeria.

August24online.com gathered that,late Jawando who was popularly known as OBJ during his lifetime was a former house of representative aspirant in Lagos Island during the Era of Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN).

According to the spiritual father of the day,Ustaz Abdul Hakeem Ajijola,recited some selected verse from the holy Quran as a supplications to the decease, Ajijola, the erudite scholar urged children of the deceased not to relent in organising such prayer for their late father because of the benefit involve.

One good fact about late Jawando is that all his surviving three children are well presentable in the society and doing great in their founding profession as they are all propagating the good name of Jawando family across the globe, they are Chief Natiq Jawando a top ranking federal civil servant,Alhaja Tairat Onikoyi a successful business mogul and comrade Olusegun Galib Jawando who is a repute local government senior officer.

it is not not an understatement to say, late Jawando was one of the founding fathers of the renowned premier palace club of Epetedo,a top high ranking and esteem club in the community which overseas all happenings in the Epetedo community.

Jawando, some of his political associates includes former NPN chieftain in Lagos, late chief Hilario Babs Akerele,former minister for science and technology, late senator Wahab dosumu and Chief Mrs Sidikat Keshinro a former house of representative aspirant under the platform of NPN and currently the Olori of Oba Ajiran land,HRM Tijani Akinloye sateru 1.
