Gbajabiamila, a chieftain of the APC who is a fourth term proactive member at the National assembly and one of the movers and shakers of Surulere politics Made this sensitive comment when he was asked to comment on the good gesture extended to the good people of Surulere Muslim community during the ongoing Ramadan fasting exercise by honorable Kayode Aborishade popularly known as KAY.
Aborishade, as he his fondly called among his political associates was the dynamic youth leader for Governor Akinwunmi Ambode volunteers group in Surulere local government that earned him a certificate of performance from His Excellency, the governor of Lagos State.
Our reporter gathered that Aborishade had also impacted knowledge and brought happiness to many household within his locality as charity has became his second nature since he started his selfless services within the community,some of his good antecedent includes free computer training and provision of equipment to over 1000 youths in the community, traveling opportunities to over 200 athletes, providing shelter to less the privileged and he currently has over Fifty student on his scholarship list among several others.
The forty two year old grass root politician who is a key contender for the number one seat of Surulere Local Government told OMOATITEBI last night during a closed door interview, that his main reason for eyeing the post of the council chairman is in order to continue to touch the lives of his people positively.
Aborishade stated that he intends to continue to extend his long time charity to the needy with the council office, adding that providing basic amenities to the doorstep of every Surulere resident will be his priority.
