"We need to change our taught and mindset because our Ideology has been jeopardized and corrupted , before we can retrieve our lost glory, Nigerians need to change their mindset because every sector in the country is corrupt including the religious leaders.

These were the submission of the guest lecturer of Zumratul Islamiyat Society Nigeria (ZISN),Fadilat Tajudeen Alashela, at the 2016 edition of its annual Ramadan lecture titled: REBALANCING THE NIGERIAN DWINDLING ECONOMY, THE YOUTH AND THE FUTURE, held last Sunday at the prestigious Glover memorial hall Lagos.

Alashela, who is also the Kwara state Chief Imam and Missioner of Zumuratul Islamiyat Society Nigeria, attributed the nation's ailing economy, to the selfish and reckless tendencies of political leaders as regards management of the abundant economic potentials in the land, adding that they also play politics with the future of the youth.

The cleric stressed that the problem can only be rectified, if Nigerians can change their mindset and operate on a goal to make the country better for all.

The Islamic association also pleaded with the state Government, to extend its magnanimity as done to other Islamic organisation like Ansarudeen and Nawairudeen whose schools were returned for them to run.

Highpoint of the event was the special prayer for the country led by its National Chief Imam and Missioner, Fadilat Sheikh Musbaudeen Surakat.

At the colourful event chairman of the occasion ably represented by Chairman of British international school, chief Tunde Fanimokun donated the N1m which is clearly the highest of all the donors, with a promissory note to support the association with a million naira, every 27th of December in commemoration of the date the association was founded and his own birthday.

Roll call of guests at the event includes, the National president of Zumratul Islamist Society Nigeria Engineer Mutiu Gbajumoh, Immediate  past National President and Baba Adini of Zumuratul Islamiyat Prince Tajudeen Olusi,Deputy National president of Zumuratul, Hon. Mohammed Oyinlomo Danmole amongst others.
