As part of his financial quest to support and promote small and medium scale enterprises in his constituency and to live up to his campaign promises, The Amiable Deputy Speaker of Lagos state house of Assembly, representing Lagos Island Constituency 1 at the Lagos state house of Assembly, Rt Hon Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun has given stipend worth Fifty thousand naira each to one hundred petty traders at the total cost of five million naira only (#5, 000000) to upgrade their various businesses.

Speaking at the gathering, the soft spoken deputy speaker of the state, RT Hon Wasiu Sanni Eshilokun appeal to all his constituency members for holding the program late,he stressed that his office in collaboration with the ministry of commerce were brain storming for the betterment of his constituency,more so, "i have been working tirelessly as a legislature on bills that would affect my people positively as he promise that subsequent edition of the APT programs would be more fantastic'' Eshilokun stated.
A Sachet water trader, who is a beneficiary of the Lawmaker gesture, Mrs Idiat Shobande expressed her gratitude in an enthusiasm and joyful mood on behalf of other beneficiaries while speaking with news men said ''with this kind of generosity and gesture towards me and my colleagues, we can now see our business growing adding that when ever the lawmaker aspire for any elective post in the nearest future, we will solidly render our support'' Shobande promised.
