PARENT,GUIDIANCE ADVICE TO GIVE AUTONOMY TO PUPILS OVER CHOICE OF COURSE ...as Oluwo hold free ledearship traning for youth

Short term memory,over confidence,family issues and methods of answering questions has been identify as some of the major factors affecting pupils during examinations,more so parents and guidance have been advice to give free autonomy to pupils when chosen their choice of course or founding professions.

This was contained from the lecture delivered by seasoned motivational speakers who were bill to speak at the one week free leadership training held yesterday at the prestigious st George girls primary school,falomo,Lagos.

The laudable and well attended free leadership program was organised by the pretty,charming educationists and mother of five, Dr Mrs Arin Oluwo, incollaboration with women Advancement and youth research foundation (WAYREF)

According to the guest speaker,Dr Asuai Nelson advises the pupils to avoid examination malpractices even though they have to repeat the class,adding that repeating class will help the student to remain brilliant rather than becoming a dull graduate in future.

The second speaker, Dr Adeleye Bukuola lamented that schools teachers should also assist the pupils by guiding them base on their best performing subject at the junior class while opting for the senior class.

On his own part, the National president of the National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS) Comrade Tijani Usman represented by its vice president Comrade Ayenuro Timileyin call on other philanthropist in the community to imbibe the good will culture of Oluwo as she is uplifting the educational sector of the youth while the student body also presented a certificate of credence to the initiator.

In her welcoming speech to the pupils, the brain behind the idea, Dr Mrs Arin Oluwo told the pupils that self courage,honesty,hard work and determination will help them achieve their future dream,stating that there is no reason for giving any excuse for not to achieve their goals in life.

Oluwo,who is also the secretary of international women society (IWS) and chairperson window trust fund (WTF) told our correspondent during an interview session that building the youth with leadership training is the only ways to help the pupils stay away from social vices and let them focus on their future dream adding that the programme is a way of giving back to the society that made her''.___Oluwo noted

At the gathering questions and answers on were entrained by the pupils while the moderators treated them to their satisfaction.

august24online.com gathered that pupils from all the secondary school under Ikoyi Obalede LCDA who are resident of the council were at present also political leaders of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and community members of the Ikoyi Obalende LCDA were at present.
