US CONSULATE VISIT LAGOS CENTRAL MOSQUE ...Promise to strenthen Relationship

The Consulate General of the united state of American to Nigeria, John F bray has promise that there would be a cordial relationship and much benefit from the united state of american to the Lagos central mosque during his tour to some historical places in Lagos which Lagos central mosque was included.

Bray, Made the promise while speaking to august24online.com religious correspondent today at the Lagos central mosque.

Our reporter learnt that, the consulate also visited many historical places in Lagos during his tour, some of the places he visited was palace of the Oba of Lagos, the Christ cathedral church, the former prison yard now freedom pack and the famous city hall of Lagos.

Bray, was warmly received by the leadership of the Lagos central mosques, led by Bashorun Adini of Lagos central mosque, Alhaji Sikiru Macfoy, the Mufasir of the mosque, Alhaji Shakirudeen Mofeshaye went down memory lane by briefing the consulate the history of the mosques while Sheikh T.O.S Gbajabiamila held the prayer session.

Highpoint of the visit was the presentation of the holy Quran to the consulate after he tour round the mosque premises were he meet with the 2016 intending pilgrimage and the pupils of Lagos central mosque Arabic institute.
