Information reaching august24online.com news room has confirmed the death of former Deputy Governor of Lagos state Alhaji Rafiu Jafojo.

Jafojo, from Badagry senatorial district was the deputy governor of Lagos state from 1979 to 1983 under the regime of Governor Lateef Jakande on the platform of the Unity Party of Nigerian (UPN).

Jafojo gave the ghost at the early hour of this morning at the age of  81.

Commenting on the death, in an telephone interview with leading aspirant for Ifelodun LCDA and coordinator for Bring Back Ajifat, Hon Fatai Ajidagba said Jafojo death is a great lost to the good people of Badagry division and Lagos state in general adding that Lagos state will miss his great political talent and advice.
