Son of former Eletu Iwashe of Lagos, Chief Taofik Eletu Iwashe, known as Hon Moshood Eletu Iwashe has disburse writing materials worth thousands of naira to pupils of his Alagba, Akanni, Agarawu, Alaluqurani, Aroloya and Tinubu community in Lagos Island local government as part of its community social responsibility (CSR) as he join councillorship race in the ward.

august24online.com gathered that the laudable exercise took place penultimate Sunday at the popular Obe street in Lagos Island, Lagos state, south west Nigeria, had in attendance all APC ward exco,leaders, community and religious leaders and artisans.

Eletu Iwashe who is a two term councillorship aspirant and a season politician from ward B3 in Lagos Island Constituency 1, under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) bagged BSC in education from the prestigious University of Lagos.

Items distributed to each of the 500 pupils who attended the exercise were 40 leaves of note books,packet of Biro, mathematical set, school bags and story books.

in an interview with Hon Eletu Iwashe by august24online.com senior political correspondent, Eletu Iwashe told our correspondent that as a son of the soil and a man with a vision mind who is aimed to take his ward to the greater high and to relief parent from spending revealed that programs such as free health programs, inter zone football competition and business empowerment also part of his agenda for his ward before the party primaries kick off.

A community leader and social commentator, Mr Kazeem Oniro lauded the councillorship aspirant, Hon Eletu for his giant contribution to the growth of his community stressing that it will be in favour and blessing of the good people of ward B3 to present such young and vibrant youth as the flag bearer of the party in the fast approaching local government poll so as to benefit from his future plans.
