For those who are pointing accusing fingers and raining abusive languages on the articulated and ever busy Executive Secretary of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon Lukmon Omotosho, for his wrongful allegation of non- performance. am sure by the time they read through this piece of information,they will keep their mouth shut and have a change of mind.

Simply because the council boss has kicked off a superlative and humanitarian program tagged 'Social Security For The Aged' which is the second edition.

Just 48hours ago, the council boss Hon. Lukmon Omotosho invited over four hundred aged across Lagos Island as he presented them with food items such as Rice, Beans, Semovita, Vegetable Oil and Cash gift worth five thousand naira each after undergoing free medical treatment as they all received drugs for all kinds of complaints from the Council Medical Team.

Highlight of the event was the serving of food and drinks to the aged parent and having a round table discussion with the Executive Secretary on issues boarding their various community, while popular DJ Idaba was on stand as they all danced to the popular legend track of  Saka Laigbade of blessed memory.

In her own speech,sexy and beautiful queen who is the deputy executive secretary of he council and supervising councillor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) Hon Hidayat Marshal told news men that subsequent edition of the program will be increased to1000 aged.

An aged mother who can not hide her joyful mood, Mrs. Mariam Kuti, popularly known as Iya Lemo from partey area told august24online.com that ''today will be my second most memorable day since the advert of democracy in Nigeria and in my local government. She commented that previous administration has never recognise we the aged, but i give kudos and prayer to this present government of Hon. Lukmon Omotosho who has deem it feet to invite us the aged, as i can freely wine and dine with my council boss''.
